Croft Transport Planning & Design has advised Strategic Land Group on its successful planning application to develop 350 new homes in Stoke-On-Trent.
Outline planning consent was granted by Stoke-on-Trent City Council on February 14 for the scheme which will be built on a 13.5-hectare greenfield site in Meir.
Croft advised on a number of traffic and highways matters associated with the development, which will provide the area with much-needed family housing.
Tim Russell, associate at Croft, said: “Working as part of the planning team, we were able to demonstrate that the site was a suitable and accessible location for housing, and agreed a package of highway improvements to mitigate the impact of the development.
“This development will make a significant contribution towards the council’s five-year housing land supply.”
The scheme was granted consent subject to planning conditions and the completion of a section 106 agreement.
Strategic Land Group now intends to market the site to housebuilders to take the development forward.
