A state-of-the-art dementia care village at the Wirral Waters regeneration site has taken a major step forward after a planning application was submitted by Peel Land & Property and partner Belong.
As part of the planning team, Croft Transport Planning & Design has played its role in the planning application for the project.
The village, which was unveiled at MIPIM in March, will see the creation of public amenities including a bistro, specialist gym, hair salon and various function rooms.

“Working alongside Belong has been a richly rewarding experience and we look forward to seeing the development come to fruition.”
As well as its public facilities, the village will also support people in the broader community through its registered domiciliary care provision, Belong at Home, and Experience Days, a dedicated day care service.
Designed by Pozzoni, the village incorporates housing options for a range of individual needs, including 34 one and two-bedroom apartments for independent living and six units providing 24-hour support for up to 12 residents each.
