Eden Boys School, Preston

Croft was commissioned to provide transport and highways advice to assist in the determination of a prior notification for the change the use of an existing building on the edge of Preston city centre, from office use to a state-funded school for around 700 pupils.

Detailed negotiation was carried out with the Lancashire County Council to agree measures that would seek to minimise car borne travel and the impact any residual car trips would have on the local highway network, as well as providing safe access for pupils travelling by sustainable modes of transport.
