Yorkshire Post HQ, Leeds

Highways and transport advice was provided to support a planning application for the redevelopment of the former Yorkshire Post HQ - a key gateway site for the city of Leeds.

The proposals include the construction of four principal buildings that would provide 40,000sqm of office and circa 200 residential apartments, together with a mix of ancillary uses at ground floor. The Transport Assessment included a consideration of the impact of the proposals on an already-busy highway network.

Croft also prepared the S278 design for the proposed access arrangements, which were required to allow for the Council’s Cycle Superhighway scheme.
